LET'S TALK ABOUT : WILSON AKA " CAST AWAY "

Wilson is a beautiful one year old pug . His owner is my long time friend Juliane , a mother of 5 kids ... and " mother " of 2 pugs ( Pootchie is the older dog of Juliane.... she's 12 years old !!! ) . Usually pugs are beige and black , but not Wilson... he's all black !!! He's an " inside " kind of dog ( he doesn't like to go outside at all ) . Wilson is the man of the house and is really protective of Juliane . He acts like she belongs to him and no one can't touch her or even be close to her... wherever she goes in the house he is following her everywhere ( even in the bathroom !!! ) . If you don't like to be alone and you need affection , Wilson is most definitely the best candidate for the job !!!

LET'S TALK ABOUT : HATED AKA " NOUNET "

Hated is a 2 years old Staffordshire Terrier and she is proud of it . She is Ash's best friend and is owned by Audrey too ( strong women she is !!! ) . Hated is the opposite of Ash :
1- Ash as lot of energy... Hated is more relaxed
2- Ash loves kids ... Hated likes more adults
But once she likes you ... it's over. She's always begging for attention and loves to sit beside you and getting pet for hours !!! She has this look on her face that you can't resist. But sometimes she gets mad at Ash to come near because she's a jealous dog ( she likes the "spotlight" on her!!! ) . She's the boss in the house and Ash just have to submit to her ( very dominant) . Hated is watching everything so you better watch out Ash!!!!

LET'S TALK ABOUT : ASH AKA " BIG BOY "

Ash is a beautiful 2 years old Bull Mastiff that loves to play all day. He belongs to my very good friend Audrey ( I guess passion for dogs is contagious!!! ). This dog is so big that you can almost mistake him for a black panther... His ears has been cut when he was a puppy , but still have his very long tail that bangs into everything when he walks by!!! Sometimes people might have a bad opinion about those dogs but let me tell you that Ash is the sweetest dog ever ( he is so not aggressive) . He just loves people ( especially women!!! ) and cries when he sees other animals. He's just like a big baby... In fact , Ash is just everybody' s friend

Hello everyone one and welcome to my first blog ever!!!

My name is July and I live in Montreal , Quebec . Looking at other people's blog and how they write about themselves and some of their hobbies or passion inspired me to create one as well . To put this experience more challenging for me I decided to write my blog in english ( hopefully people won't detect my french accent through my writtings!!! ) .

So here I am , sitting in front of my computer , thinking what I'm going to write about :

1- Something that inspires me

2- Something I can't see myself without

3- Something I always talk about......still no clue !!!!

My page as been blank for almost half an hour when , all of a sudden , I feel something touching my right leg ... It's Billy , my 3 years old Cocker Spaniel claiming my attention and affection !!! " That's it " I said , " I'm going to write about men's best friend : dogs " !!!

I adopted Billy when he was 2 months old . He is born on november 18 th 2006 in a small town just outside of Montreal . He's a beige Cocker Spaniel ... but nothing like you have seen before , trust me !!! Usely those kind of dogs have long and curly fur , not him . He never had a curl and his fur just stands up straight on the top of his head ( like a mohawk ! ). I even have to shave him 2 or 3 times during the summer cause he gets to messy .

I don't know if it's normal but it took me a long time and a lot of patience to be able to teach him " good manners ". Maybe because Cockers are stubborn and they do what they want ... or maybe it was because he was not " fixed " for the first 2 years . I was against castration until I had no more control over him and he started to bit me when I was trying to stop him from " marking his territory " around the house ... if you know what I mean ?! So I called the Vet and he told me that if I get him fixed it might correct the situation ( but with some dogs it doesn't help at all ) . I took some time to think about it ( 3 days ) until he did it again on the corner of my brand new stainless fridge , looking me in the eyes , daring me to do something about it , and attacted me again ... Then I had no choice to call the Vet and the next day he went through with the operation ( Sorry Billy !!! It was for your own good !!! ) . Believe it or not , since that day he never " relieved " himself in the house anymore and never bit me either . It was a success !!! My dog was able to be himself , without hormones driving him nuts !!! I really believe that a dog's hormones takes over their brains and jugement .... seriously. Anyways we've been getting along just fine since then , it's just so wonderful !!!



Toobies ( Billy's nick name ) and I like to go to the dog park ... whenever it's not raining of course !!! We always take the car to go there ( even if it's a couple of blocks away!!! ) . He just loves car rides it's incredible . He just sticks his head out the window and the wind makes his ears flop in the air ( hilarious ! ) . The dog park is amazing cause you can see all kind of dogs ( some you never seen before and didn't know it even existed ) and they all have different personalities it's crazy !!! Most of the time it's always the same dog owners that brings their dogs there ... so you can get to know everyone pretty fast ( basically a good place to " chat " if you don't have any luck usually !!! ) . So your dog is making friends with other dogs .... while you are having dog conversations with their owners ( ever lasting subject !!! )

After long reflection I decided i'm going to write about my regular visits to the dog park and describe all the dogs I saw and their owners ; asking them some questions about their relationship with their " loyal companion " ; what's the goods and the bads about having them in their lives ; funny facts about them and their habits , and share it with people on my blog . I will even go do some research on the breed of the dogs and compare the difference of each one of them . Hope you will enjoy reading me daily as I will be posting some exciting things about what I care the most in my life : MY DOG !!!
